Compliance Checker

Every organization has requirements to perform a wide variety of compliance checks and inspections. Some requirements are self imposed (safety, SOPs, instructions, processes, etc), but others are mandated by third parties (government, insurance, equipment manufacturers).

While we all recognize the need to comply; it seems more often than not:

  • We don’t adequately record what we did, or
  • We can’t find the record verifying we performed the check

Plus, Oversight's solution provides a consistant location to store all the organization's required compliance results.

Operation

These checks can be static: yes, no, on, off; or they can be dynamic: temperature, pressure, condition.

Compliance Checker uses mobile devices to collect the inspection results. The results are then sent to the Client's secure website. Using Oversight's proprietary rules, the raw data is then intelligently associated to report Who, What, When, and Where for every check.

Reporting:

First of all, Compliance Checker reports are available to any authorized manager - anytime, anywhere.

As you might suspect, each Client's data base includes a large amount of detail.

Oversight's interactive reporting permits managers to interactively filter through all the detail to select only the information they need, when they need it.

Fire extinguishers

Failure to perform effective checks on your fire extinguishers could have possible regulatory, safety, and liability ramifications.

You are required to make monthly checks to insure:

Setup:

After the company identifies the number of tags required to ID each fire extinguisher, Oversight Inc. sends the tags affixed to a form that makes it easy to transfer information to your database. The company uniquely specifies each fire extinguisher, including a location; mounts the tag on each fire extinguisher, and transfers the information to their secure web site. They develop an insert for their Message Pad to specify which checks are required.

Operation:

When the monthly inspection time arrives, a properly trained Individual, possibily a Security Officer, using data collection hardware records not only the Date and Time of the inspection, but also using the Message Pad and Notes feature, records the specific results. Like Guard Checker, the inspection information is transferred to your secure web site.

Reports:

Now the company has an easily accessible record for each fire extinguisher that includes:

  1. The date and time of each inspection
  2. The person who made the inspection
  3. The specific inspection results

Exception Reports can also show:

  1. Specific fire extinguishers not inspected during a particular time frame
